Mixed Reality
Display Boxes

These Display boxes acted as a platform to tell parts stories, make music with the bees, and to reveal a prototype car. The ability to create stories and interactions around a physical object inside
of a display creates a new sense of space and connection with the user .

Parts of
Performance

The Lexus turbo was built to demonstrate a parts story of how the Lexus and crafted turbo creates more boost pressure for the driver to experience amazing. Unity-3D is used for 100% of the build to create an real-time cinematic experience.

Conceptually we wanted to reveal the new universal global architecture for the vehicle chaise at CES a week ahead of the Detroit auto shows full reveal. We used 3D printing , paired with rapid prototype to illustrate how the effects would appear for a stage presentation with the real parts.

The sequence is controlled with a custom scripted midi controller and remotely from a wireless midi interface .

Our Bee Box prototype allowed users to reach inside the box itself virtually and play music by touching each of the flowers. Each flower plays a note on the pentatonic scale creating rewarding combinations of music once played.

We envisioned it as an endcap in store or a small to large trade show execution. This musical garden could scale to any size and work with a variety of instruments and sequencing effects.
