We seat out to make a quick prototype of a shopping cart that was able to drive it self back to the store and follow customers as they shop.
The only catch was we had to use items inside the Walmart as the primary drive system. :D
After a days worth of hacking cordless impact drivers to be driven over a wifi network to a ESP-32 MicroController that allowed us to drive the cart with WASD keyboard commands the team celebrated by having a victory lap inside the cart as we drove our self like a shopping cart RC Car.
